A massive barn fire in Stratham, NH. The family telling the Portsmouth Herald that hundreds of chickens inside the barn died. The barn dates back to the mid-1800s.
Stratham Fire Chief Matt Larrabee said some goats were released from the burning barn into the field at the Scamman Farm, but 300 chickens perished. He said there was no way to save the barn. "It's a big loss to the town and the Seacoast area," he said
Family says 300 chickens were lost in the massive fire in the barn at the Scamman Farm in Stratham. Many of the decorations and items used during the corn maze and other fall activities at the farm were also destroyed.

One civilian and two firefighters were injured during this fire in Concord, NH. Due to the amount of damage, none of the 24 units inside the apartment building were able to be reoccupied.
