Dover police are investigating after a body was pulled from the Cocheco River Wednesday morning. At 11:20 a.m., police and firefighters responded to the area behind 3 Green St. for a report of a body in the river. Responders were able to locate and recover the body of a white man.

Windham fire officials said they had to go back to a house at 33 Abbot Road that was badly damaged in a fire Friday night after a hot spot rekindled Saturday morning. Police officers who were the first at the scene reported heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear of the house.

Manchester: police said they are investigating a shooting that happened in a Brown Ave neighborhood Thursday night. Police responded to the area of 406 Brown Ave after reports of shots fired there around 2:45 p.m. Eight police cruisers, several unmarked cars and a K9 team were seen in the area.

Manchester, New Hampshire shooting at 406 Brown Ave: 1 injured
A Bedford man was arrested early Thanksgiving morning after police said he sped away from officers in Manchester and then crashed into a cruiser. Police said an officer tried to stop a car for speeding along Elm Street near the intersection with Pleasant Street at about 12:40 Thursday morning. Investigators said the driver, later identified as Stephen Lesassier, 30, initially stopped, but then sped off down Central Street.

Manchester: No students were injured when a dormitory building on the Southern New Hampshire University campus caught fire Saturday evening. The two-alarm fire badly damaged Greeley Hall, a three-story building. It was brought under control shortly after 8:30 p.m., said Manchester District Fire Chief Hank Martineau.
A man from Windham was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash in Hudson. Hudson Police said a 2016 Dodge Ram pickup truck was heading east over the Taylor Falls Bridge just before 1 a.m. Saturday morning.
