A Manchester man is accused of dragging another man through a Goffstown parking lot after backing into that person's vehicle. Police say Matthew Johnston hit the other vehicle in the parking lot of the WaToy restaurant on Mast Rd. They say the alleged victim tried to stop Johnston, but instead was dragged 25 feet before falling off Johnston's vehicle.

A former Nute High School student was arrested for a second time this week after he triggered a lockdown at the school on Tuesday. On Thursday at about 1 p.m., Milton police arrested Guerdon Zerbinopoulos, 18, of Milton. Police has originally charged Zerbinopoulous with criminal trespass and disorderly conduct on Tuesday, when he entered the school and caused a disturbance, forcing the school into lockdown mode.
The New Hampshire Senate has given preliminary approval to a bill aimed at preventing animal cruelty and sparing towns from spending huge amounts of money to care for seized animals.

Rochester police are looking for a man who stabbed another man seven times inside an apartment building. Police said a man was stabbed at 17 1/2 Bridge Street around 3 a.m. Wednesday.

A Massachusetts man died after crashing his car into a tree off Interstate 93 in Sanbornton, police said. State troopers were dispatched around 8:30 a.m. Monday to the southbound side of I-93 near mile marker 59.8.

A registered sex offender was arrested by U.S. Marshals and Nashua police for a sexual assault charge, police said Monday. Edward Goodwin, 55, had been under investigation and accused of at least two sexual assaults for nearly four years.

Firefighters from five departments helped bring a house fire under control in Claremont on Saturday. Jonathan Calvin was found incompetent to stand trial last year, and his charges were dismissed. A 32-year-old Rochester man was charged with driving with a suspended license after police say he rolled over his car on Wednesday evening. Police said James Owens was driving a Kia Optima westbound on Estes Road about 5:30 p.m. when the car drifted off the pavement, struck a rock and rolled over near the intersection of Oak Street.
Witnesses came to the rescue of three people hurt in a fiery crash Thursday evening in Windham. Bystanders jumped into action, pulling the driver from her burning vehicle. Three vehicles were involved in the crash just before 6 p.m. at the intersection of Routes 111 and 28.
