A man is being held without bail on second-degree murder charges in the death of a 2-year-old New Hampshire boy. An autopsy shows that Jacob Pelletier, of Manchester, died of blunt force trauma to the abdomen on Monday. He was found unconscious in his family's apartment and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The Merrimack County Grand Jury has indicted two men for their roles in a house explosion earlier this year in Wilmot. Shane Fortier, 29, and Adam Dalton, 25, were each indicted Wednesday on charges including burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, second-degree assault, mechanical licensing penalties and falsifying physical evidence. Fortier also faces a drug possession charge, while Dalton was charged with tampering with witnesses and informants.
An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a 2-year-old boy in Manchester. Police said Mark Heath, 32, of Manchester, was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with two counts of second-degree murder.

A former substitute teacher in Somersworth is accused of encouraging middle schoolers to smoke marijuana and providing a smoking device to one student. On Thursday, Somersworth police arrested Elisha Mahar, 20, of Rochester, on a warrant, charging four counts of endangering the welfare of a child, all class A misdemeanors.
A Nashua man is facing child endangerment charges after authorities said his 1-year-old son swallowed illegal drugs while under the man's care. According to court documents, the boy's parents rushed their son to the emergency room at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center on Sept. 1.
