Plow drivers might be just as busy as Santa Claus this weekend. Friday night's blast of winter made for a tricky commute as people hit the roads for the holidays. It was a busy ride north in the Windham area. Interstate 91 was mostly clear in Hooksett but drivers still took it slow as the state reduced highway speed limits to 45 miles per hour.

Woman has been sentenced to up to six years in prison for her role in a violent home invasion. WMUR-TV reports 35-year-old Melissa Natal pleaded guilty Tuesday to conspiracy to commit robbery and burglary. A judge sentenced Natal to three to six years in prison.

A 10-year-old boy has died in New Hampshire after police said his sled went into traffic. Authorities were called to the town of Winchester to investigate. They said the boy had been sledding on a hill near his home when he slid into the road and was hit by a car.

A man is being held without bail on second-degree murder charges in the death of a 2-year-old New Hampshire boy. An autopsy shows that Jacob Pelletier, of Manchester, died of blunt force trauma to the abdomen on Monday. He was found unconscious in his family's apartment and was pronounced dead at a hospital.
The Merrimack County Grand Jury has indicted two men for their roles in a house explosion earlier this year in Wilmot. Shane Fortier, 29, and Adam Dalton, 25, were each indicted Wednesday on charges including burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, second-degree assault, mechanical licensing penalties and falsifying physical evidence. Fortier also faces a drug possession charge, while Dalton was charged with tampering with witnesses and informants.
An arrest has been made in connection with the death of a 2-year-old boy in Manchester. Police said Mark Heath, 32, of Manchester, was arrested Wednesday evening and charged with two counts of second-degree murder.
