Man killed by police in Pittsfield shooting, authorities say
A Canaan man trying to express his disdain for police with a one-finger gesture instead crashed his car on I-91 and was arrested for driving under the influence
A suspicious device was located in the area of the Cypress Center. As a precaution area buildings have been evacuated and the NHSP bomb squad will be responding to take a look at the device. One person is in custody

US Marshals responded to a home on Union St to serve a warrant. Upon arrival, shots were fired. MPD SWAT personnel & Bearcat were deployed- roads shut down and residents sheltering in place. Additional shots have been fired -there are no known injuries

Large police presence near Manchester hotel
A massive barn fire in Stratham, NH. The family telling the Portsmouth Herald that hundreds of chickens inside the barn died. The barn dates back to the mid-1800s.
Stratham Fire Chief Matt Larrabee said some goats were released from the burning barn into the field at the Scamman Farm, but 300 chickens perished. He said there was no way to save the barn. "It's a big loss to the town and the Seacoast area," he said
Family says 300 chickens were lost in the massive fire in the barn at the Scamman Farm in Stratham. Many of the decorations and items used during the corn maze and other fall activities at the farm were also destroyed.
Man suffers life-threatening injuries after shooting outside Manchester restaurant in the area of Elm Street and Mechanic Street.
